Struggling with bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort and weird bowel habits? You might have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or IBS.
IBS is the most common digestive health concern amongst Canadians! In fact, it is estimated that 4-6 million Canadians are suffering with IBS (that's about 11-17% of us!)
April is IBS Awareness Month, and since this condition is amongst one of the most common things I help people with in my practice, I am committed to spreading knowledge and helping people understand this complex condition. It is important that you know that while IBS is VERY common, it's not normal, and you don't have to suffer. There are a lot of things to consider and investigate after being given a diagnosis of IBS - and you are not necessarily destined to a lifetime of abdominal pain, looking 6 months pregnant, and constantly needing to know where the nearest washroom is.
In this video blog, I share with you the Top 5 Facts about IBS that I think everyone needs to know! Please watch, and of course, let me know if you have any questions! I will post in the future about natural treatments for IBS, and other strategies to help you with IBS, but I also encourage you to come to my seminar this upcoming Thursday, April 20th at Integra Health Centre from 12-1pm where I will be discussing how to Banish Bloating (the Naturopathic Guide to managing your IBS!) We will also be streaming this on Facebook Live - I gave you the instruction as to where to find this in the video, but feel free to follow me on Facebook and I'll post the link to the video as soon as I can!
I hope you enjoyed it!
